CityLine Park

Richardson, TX

$2.5 Million

Overview

CityLine Park is an urban park and trail system located within an upscale retail and residential district along Routh Creek Parkway in Richardson. The project required the integration of structural, civil, and architectural elements within a constrained creek corridor while maintaining visual quality and long-term durability in a highly visible public setting. RoeschCo constructed extensive stone-clad retaining walls within the banks of an active waterway, requiring careful sequencing and coordination to manage drainage, grading, and creek conditions. The project also included construction of a wood and steel truss pedestrian bridge, providing a key connection within the park and trail system. A signature feature of the project is a 360-foot custom steel and composite elevated boardwalk, supported by helical pile foundations and designed to carry users above the creek corridor. Additional work included a custom steel trellis structure supported from a cantilevered structural deck overlooking the water, along with concrete paving, decomposed granite trails, and supporting site improvements. Together, these elements deliver a cohesive urban park environment that balances structural complexity with public use and aesthetics.
